MACRO!!

I GOT MACRO FILTER~ but then i realized they're not enough for the photos i wanna take, like water droplets and tiny flowers so I GOT MACRO LENS :dummy: Micro-Nikkor 60mm (: yayyy also, i have a question, wondering if anyone could help me i used to use the reverse lens technique with the canon school camera it worked fine, as you can see in the water droplet photos i have in my gallery and then i tried it with my nikon d90 with the 18-105mm kit lens and it doesnt work :ohnoes: it's all black i searched online and i saw other nikon users use this technique, so its not that nikon cameras can't do this anyone know what the problem is
